Certified nursing assistants are at the heart of patient care. They assist RNs and LPNs in effectively delivering safe and comfortable health care by performing primary patient rounds and listening to patient complaints. CNAs go beyond the bounds of nursing assistance by providing emotional support to patients. They are known to be the eyes and ears of the clinical team as their work is focused on monitoring patient status and welfare.
